The Hungarian-Chinese Water Meeting was held in the first time this year in Beijing. Hungarian water industry and innovative Hungarian water related solutions were introduced at the first bilateral water conference in the capital of China.
At the Beijing Meeting, first the Hungarian experts presented the challenges, objectives and solutions of Hungarian and Chinese water management, as well as environmental measures and funding structures related to the issue. In his presentation, Károly Kovács, President of HWA and Hungarian Water Partnership, in his speech presented the Hungarian water sector, its achievements and the cost-effective, affordable and sustainable water solutions that bring together excellent Hungarian partners. In addition, Károly Kovács also addressed the importance of proper project preparation, long-term life-cycle planning and ensuring financing. The Hungarian water industry has many references and professional experience in all these areas, and it is a pleasure to share it with their Chinese partners.
